What is a prepaid card?
A prepaid card is not a credit card. It has a pre-determined amount of dollars placed on the card by the card purchaser. The use of a prepaid card is limited to the available balance on the card.

Does my prepaid card have a PIN number?
Depending on what type of program is set up there may be a PIN number associated with your prepaid card. However, in most cases there is no PIN associated with the card programs we offer.

Can I reload my prepaid card?
No. Funds can not be added to a prepaid card by the card holder.

Does my prepaid card expire?
Yes. The expiration date is embossed on the front of your prepaid card. This date can vary in length depending on the program set up. To avoid incurring any fees, your prepaid card should be used prior to expiration.

How do I purchase prepaid cards?
You can place an order online by clicking Order Cards or you can contact a member of our sales force at 1-877-918-6677 for assistance in choosing the correct prepaid card program for your individual needs.

Is there a fee to set up an account?
There may be a one-time set up fee for a co-branded card program. There are no set-up fees for stock card programs.

Can a prepaid card be non-personalized?
Yes. A prepaid card can be embossed with a non-personalized message, such as "Gift Card Recipient". Your personalized message can be up to 19 characters including spaces.

What fees are associated with my prepaid card?
In the event that your prepaid card is lost or stolen there is a replacement card fee. Other fees that may incur are either program specific or waived until expiration of the card. All potential fees are stated in the documents that arrive with your prepaid card or can be viewed online.

What happens if there are still funds available after my prepaid card expires?
If funds remain on a prepaid card after expiration the card can be reissued, but there will be a replacement card fee applied. Funds left on an expired card also incur a monthly card on file fee.

How does my prepaid card work?
Using your prepaid card for a purchase is similar to using a credit card. Before using your card you should be aware of the balance. Unless otherwise stated in the instructions that come with your prepaid card, at the time of purchase you will want to choose a "credit" transaction. In most cases there is no PIN number associated with your prepaid card so if you choose "debit" your transaction will be declined. If the purchase is more than the available balance on your prepaid card, pay the difference first in another method and then run the remaining balance on your card. Each time you use your card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your card balance.

Will I receive a statement for my prepaid card?
You will not receive a statement regarding your card usage. However, you can view your statement online 24/7.

How can I check my balance?
You can check the balance on your prepaid card call by calling the number located on the back of your card or by accessing your account information online through the web site which is also located on the back of your card.

What happens if my prepaid card is lost or stolen?
Saving the information you receive with your prepaid card, such as the card number and security code located on the back, is important in this occurrence. Call the number listed in your Terms and Conditions to report your card lost or stolen and we will perform a reissue.

Is my prepaid card a credit card?
No. A prepaid card is not a credit card.

How does my prepaid card differ from a traditional credit card?
A credit card is a financial borrowing/payment instrument issued based upon the credit limits of the cardholder. Repayment terms include interest on a monthly basis. A prepaid card has dollars placed onto it and can be used until the funds are exhausted or the card expires.

Who might like a prepaid card?
Everyone! A prepaid card gives the recipient freedom to choose their own gift and use it whenever or wherever they desire.

Is my name or the recipient's name on the prepaid card I order?
When you order a prepaid card you have the ability to personalize it to include the recipient's name.

Is there a maximum limit on my card?
Cards can be loaded only through the issuing company. Typically the minimum per card is $20.00 and the maximum is $750.00 for non-personalized cards, however, there may be exceptions depending on the program and how it is set up.

Are there agreements or terms and conditions associated with my prepaid card?
Yes. All prepaid cards are sent with a cardholder agreement. You can also view your cardholder agreement online by typing in the first 10 digits of your card number.

Who can order a prepaid card?
We provide prepaid cards for the corporate and business world.

Is there a minimum dollar amount that can be placed on the prepaid card?
The minimum load amount that we offer is $20.00.

How do I pay for my order?
Since the card is "prepaid", you can send a check, do a wire transfer, ACH, or pay by credit card. The payment will include the load amount and all processing, shipping and handling fees.

When will the recipient receive the prepaid card?
Upon clearance of payment the card will be shipped within 5 to 7 business days.

Will the card be sent to me or the recipient?
Cards will be mailed to the address you provide when you place your order. You can specify where you would like the cards sent.

Can prepaid cards be shipped to PO Boxes?
No.

Does someone need to sign upon delivery of the prepaid card?
Yes.

Can I be refunded for shipping and handling?
No. We do not refund shipping and handling charges.

How long does it take for refunds to post on my prepaid card?
If the merchant cancels a transaction at your request, it will take up to seven days for the authorization hold to be removed from your card.

Why am I having trouble making online purchases with my prepaid card?
You will need to be sure that your name, address, and phone number associated with your prepaid card matches the information you give to the merchant you wish to make a purchase from. If the information is different, the purchase could be declined. You can update your information by going to the web site listed on the back of your card or by calling the customer service number provided with your card.

What happens if I need to return a purchased item?
You would follow the same procedure that you would when doing a return on a credit card. Please allow up to 7 days for your refund to appear on your card.

Can I use my prepaid card at restaurants?
Yes. When using your prepaid card at a restaurant, an "up charge" of up to 25% will be automatically calculated and "temporarily" added to the total amount of the bill when authorized through their credit card terminal. This ensures that you have funds available to cover the total bill plus tip. Your account will not be charged the calculated "up charge" should you choose to pay the tip in cash. To avoid any problems with the temporary "up charge" at the time of authorization, make sure the total amount of the bill does not exceed 70% of the existing balance on your prepaid card.

Can I use my prepaid card for recurring payments?
No.
